it is very common for many npm modules to ship with compiled files, whereas in almost all cases the git repository is a better source for ... source code. An out of sync CVS should make the debian packager realize it's probably abandoned software. Also as Pirate Praveen already replied: npm packages often don't ship test suites. Please reconsider your opinion on that matter, opening bugs won't do any good until we settle upon an agreement here... Jérémy
