Package: upgrade-reports Severity: critical Justification: breaks the whole system
Dear Maintainer, * What led up to the situation? Upgrading system to the testing branch. * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? Just installed debian-8.6.0-xfce-CD-1. Everything was alright. Then I added testing branch of repository to the sources.list with "main contrib non-free" options. Then I did "apt-get update" -> "apt-get dist-upgrade". * What was the outcome of this action? System doesn't load. Instead of "Loading initramfs" just blinking '_'. * What outcome did you expect instead? That system would load just like it was after fresh install. This is probably due to my PC is being very old - Celeron 1.1 Ghz, 512Mb Ram, motherboard Elitegroup P6VXAT. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-686-pae (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=ru_RU.utf8, LC_CTYPE=ru_RU.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system)
