Package: cmst Version: 2016.10.03-1 Severity: normal Tags: upstream Dear Maintainer,
I installed a fresh debian minimal installation (no DE) and then proceded to install lxqt (and xorg) to use the lxqt as my desktop. When I started CMST UI it gives a "critical" error message saying "Unable to create an interface to connman-vpn on the system bus. CMST will not be able to communicate with the connman vpn daemon" As I don't use vpn I didn't consider this as being critical and proceded to set-up my wifi connection without issue. I then checked "Enable Autostart" in the "Program Control" section of the preferences tab to gain the system tray icon. Each subsequent restart gave me this same error dialog. I managed to disable this by selecting "Use Start Options" from the interface section of preferences and then checking "Disable VPN" and now it starts without issue. I am reporting this as it tells the user there is a "critical error" which a lesser experienced user might consider as meaning something is seriously wrong with their system. I installed the sid package to test if this happened with the newer version and the results were the same. If I have not supplied any information that you would require please ask and I will supply it. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.7.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages cmst depends on: ii connman 1.32-1+b1 ii libc6 2.24-5 ii libgcc1 1:6.2.0-9 ii libqt5core5a 5.6.1+dfsg-3+b1 ii libqt5dbus5 5.6.1+dfsg-3+b1 ii libqt5gui5 5.6.1+dfsg-3+b1 ii libqt5network5 5.6.1+dfsg-3+b1 ii libqt5widgets5 5.6.1+dfsg-3+b1 ii libstdc++6 6.2.0-9 cmst recommends no packages. cmst suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
