Package: src:cupp
Version: 0.0+20160624.git07f9b8-1
Severity: minor
Control: tags + patch

The application package ‘cupp’ is for use at the command line; it does
not install a package targeted to Python programmers.

So for users of this package, it does not matter what the
implementation language is; and there is no clear benefit to providing
a Python 2 *and* Python 3 implementation of the application in Debian.

Instead, ‘cupp’ should install exactly one implementation, the Python
3 one; and there is no need to provide a Python 2 implementation also.

My suggested changes to achieve this are in the branch at
<URL:https://notabug.org/bignose/debian_cupp/src/wip/packaging/python3-only>
(in the repository <URL:https://notabug.org/bignose/debian_cupp.git>).
