thanks for abcde, it's quite a help. I have one issue, though: It will produce invalid ogg tags in case the CDDB information contains non-ascii (in my case latin-1 umlaut) characters. It will put these into the ogg, causing ogginfo to segfault and quodlibet to ignore the affected file (seperate bugs, I know). ogg requires a specific encoding, if I'm not mistaken, UTF8. I'm labeling this important because abcde produces incorrect ogg files that are difficult to process (two of the two tools I tried failed).
