Looks like you want --with-sound=oss there; by my reading of configure.ac, the bsd-ossaudio option entails using a userspace library from NetBSD. --with-sound=oss might also work on the Hurd if not blocked by the whitelist on line 1600 of configure.ac. FTR, I'm not deeply familiar with either OS myself; I just have a practice of tracking binary packages that show up on amd64 but not i386 or vice versa and then checking build logs for all architectures.
