I followed the instructions in README.servers.gz on how to add an
additional AFS-server. However, in order to make it work I had to make
the following addition.
After having used bos addhost to add the new server to
/etc/openafs/server/CellServDB on all existing servers I had to
restart ptserver and vlserver on all existing hosts.
I suggest adding the following after the "bos addhost" line:
bos restart <server> ptserver vlserver
Also, you should probably wait for the existing servers to have
finished voting before adding the ptserver/vlserver instances on the
new server.
