I guess, we will do the release in one or two weeks. Ok, I'll track the debian incoming queue for this, and write an UVF exception report for bluefish when the new package will hit debian. > > then I could formulate an UVF Exception Report > > and try to get a bugfixed version into dapper (numbered 1.0.5-1 synced > > from debian). > > > > This bugreport is only for documentation purposes, so nobody can say > > Ubuntu did not report the changes on your package :) > > I take care of bugs reported to Ubuntu BTS and I take care of changes > applied by Ubuntu. But still thanks. Ok, so as far as I understand your > report now, you do not request a new package upload for the fix you > reported? Your intention was only to inform me about the fix? Well, it's an informational report, that I uploaded today a changed 1.0.4 package to ubuntu, with the quickstart.c backport of actual upstream cvs, yes. For Debian, I can't request a package upload :) This is in your jurisdiction :) For Ubuntu, we had to fix the bug, when and if we can fix those bugs. I'm only doing these reports, because you know the ongoing rant/flameware about not reporting changes to debian bts and packagemaintainers about changes in their packages in ubuntu.
