Package: stterm Version: 0.6-1 Followup-For: Bug #838372 Sorry for self-replying (again). It seems that a "suckless scrollback buffer" is in the works, so it's probably not a good idea to include the scrollback patch in the Debian package. It's also way better to stay as near to upstream as possible.
I dug a big to find the reason for the st->stterm rename, and the reason is that st was included in the suckless-tools package in the past, so it was been renamed to stterm in order to be distributed as a standalong non-conflicting package (this one). Now st is not part of suckless-tools anymore, so I strongly suggest to drop the renaming patches and just provide a stterm->st symlink for compatibility. This would also fix #838439. Paride
