These are connection managers for Telepathy I'd like to propose that you allow virtual packages, e.g. telepathy-rakia | telepathy-cm-sip, telepathy-gabble | telepathy-cm-xmpp, ... Then if somebody else wants to replace telepathy-rakia, they can include: Provides: telepathy-cm-sip in their debian/control file. There is a specific example of telepathy-cm-sip in the works, the telepathy-resiprocate component.
