I reported that I couldn't reproduce the "async reply" crash with the kernel 2.6.12 that I built myself. Recently it happend with this configuration.
In the meantime I upgraded to openoffice2 (2.0.0-5) with the same kernel as before. And here again, after working about 5 minutes with oodraw, the async reply crash appears :-( Again it seems to be related with graphical actions I perform, like moving, resizing, clicking. It is not reproduceable in the sense that I can tell you the actions I have to perform to crash openoffice, but it _is_ reproduceable as it happens all the times: give me 5 minutes and I'll show you openoffice crashing. http://lists.debian.org/debian-openoffice/2006/01/msg00027.html seems to describe the same effect.
