Package: bugs.debian.org Severity: wishlist Hi there,
as the title says, it should be possible to reopen bugs by uploading a package which has a (reopen: #xyz) stanza in its debian/changelog file, just like it is possible to close one by adding a (closes: #xyz) stanza. Possible use-case: Re-upload of an old version of a font, which has been requested in the one bug because of rendering issues, will reopen the bug that has been closed earlier by uploading the new version, e.g.: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=835273 https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=699322 Thanks! - Fabian -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'experimental'), (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.6.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system)
