Hi, I see there's been another major release made (2.3, along with the first patch release, 2.3.1). There are now unofficial packages available (see [1]), which could provide a starting point for getting the latest version into stretch. I'm not sure that 16 packages is ideal though!
If the maintainer of d-push no longer wants to maintain it, I'd gladly take a look at packaging the latest release and getting the RC bugs resolved. PHP 7.0 support may need to wait until a later patch of the 2.3.x branch though, as I believe it's not yet available upstream.
