-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Evince sometimes reders black text on black background on pdfs, making it totally unuseable. As suggested by Paul Wellner Bou in Bug #347423 this is the fault of poppler, building with --disable-cairo-output as configure flag solves this problem. See Bugs #347423, #347652, #348511, #348869, #348980 for some testcases. I confirmed that this bug is present in all versions since 0.4.3-2; it did work in 0.4.3-1 and it does work building with configure - --disable-cairo-output.
