No problem, I found other ways to extract what I wanted from this DVD (namely wine + dvdshrink). Anyway, I've tried the new version of dvdbackup and it works fine now: $ dvdbackup -i /dev/hdd -t 2 -o crolles/ [snip] $ ll crolles/CROLLES_2005/VIDEO_TS/ total 2.2G -rw-r--r-- 1 domi domi 1.0G 2006-01-22 13:41 VTS_01_1.VOB -rw-r--r-- 1 domi domi 1.0G 2006-01-22 13:43 VTS_01_2.VOB -rw-r--r-- 1 domi domi 188M 2006-01-22 13:44 VTS_01_3.VOB No VOB file is bigger than 1GB.
