I'd prefer if there isn't already an upstream stable release on the 3.14 branch of mutter that you convince upstream to make one including the patch you're promoting. Then with the permission of the release team upload that upstream bugfix release to stable-proposed-updates. The above is just a preference though. Just including the patch might work as well, but you'll definitely need the Stable release managers permissions to be able to get something into a stable update. Regards, Andreas Henriksson
