Note that a binNMU of vlc has been done but builds failed everywhere.
This most likely means that vlc will be uninstallable in sid until a
source upload is done, but the maintainer appears to be missing lately
(not sure). In the meantime sid's vlc could still be useful on Etch
where it seems to be installable.
