I am not sure if this is relevant but reinstalling clamav-daemon (for
the third time) shows the following log file entry:
LOCAL: No local AF_UNIX SOCK_STREAM socket received from systemd
Looking at this report:
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=771911
suggests that /etc/systemd/system/clamav-daemon.socket.d/extend.conf
should contain:
[Socket]
ListenStream=127.0.0.1:3310
Mine contains:
[Socket]
ListenStream=
SocketUser=clamav
ListenStream=127.0.0.1:3310
Which seems similar enough.
