Package: dqcache-run Version: 20160720-1 Severity: minor Dear Maintainer,
Trying to minimise writes to disk(preparing for installation to usb) found that: 1. 'iotop' shows 'supervise log' constantly writing to disk 2. 'lsof -p TID_of_supervise_log' has lines supervise 2290 root 5wW REG 8,1 0 1460110 /etc/dqcache/service/dqcache/log/supervise/lock supervise 2290 root 6r FIFO 8,1 0t0 1460113 /etc/dqcache/service/dqcache/log/supervise/control supervise 2290 root 7w FIFO 8,1 0t0 1460113 /etc/dqcache/service/dqcache/log/supervise/control supervise 2290 root 8r FIFO 8,1 0t0 1460117 /etc/dqcache/service/dqcache/log/supervise/ok Tried to install in separate partition and find out what starts it but failed. Have no clue what starts supervise or what dqcache does but it seems that lock files should be elsewhere, at least FHS and debian irc channels say so. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.6.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages dqcache-run depends on: ii adduser 3.115 ii daemontools-run 1:0.76-6 ii dqcache 20160720-1 dqcache-run recommends no packages. dqcache-run suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
