Package: terminator Version: 0.98-1 Followup-For: Bug #559707 I am not sure if this is the same issue, but I do also have issues with pasting via middle click recently.
Often pasting via middle click or Shift+Insert, will add a 0~ to the start and 1~ to the end of selection. I.e. copied 'workqueue', it ends pasted as 0~workqueue1~. What is strange, when I have multiple subterminals in terminator, not all of them shows this behaviour. Usually calling 'reset' in the terminal, or opening new one it will stop adding this weird characters. But otherwise I do not know why some terminals shows this prolems and some doesn't. My theory is that this have something to my use of midnight commander file manager and text editor. If I open a new terminal, or do reset everything works just fine with pasting. When I open mc or mcedit, and exit without doing anything, the problem will start showing up, until I do 'reset'. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.7.0-rc7-wc1-00006-g63bab22 (SMP w/12 CPU cores; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=pl_PL.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=pl_PL.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages terminator depends on: ii gconf2 3.2.6-3 ii python-dbus 1.2.4-1 ii python-gobject 3.20.1-1 ii python-gtk2 2.24.0-5 ii python-vte 1:0.28.2-5+b1 pn python:any <none> Versions of packages terminator recommends: ii python-gnome2 2.28.1+dfsg-1.1 ii python-keybinder 0.3.1-1 ii python-notify 0.1.1-4 ii xdg-utils 1.1.1-1 terminator suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
