thank you for packaging log4c. Version 1.2.4 is available at http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/log4c/log4c-1.2.4.tar.gz 1.2.4 includes a pkg-config .pc file, making it easier to integrate in build sytems. Fedora is packaging 1.2.4 since at least Fedora 20, and if Debian could also update to it, it means that softwares using log4c targeting reasonably modern systems can drop log4c.m4 or other custom macros, and just go with standard pkg-config.
