Why do you think it is a browser-plugin-freshplayer-pepperflash problem? Looking at our log, it seems to me that the problem occurs during the configuration of pepperflashplugin-nonfree, no ? pepperflashplugin-nonfree calls update-pepperflashplugin-nonfree that has: [...] [ -z "$(echo "$stdouterr" | grep -v "^W:")" ] || die_hard_with_a_cleanup "failed to retrieve status information from google : $stdouterr" [...] So reassigning for now.
