The error was the same error: git-svn died of signal 11 (no other information printed)
I try several month ago on Arch linux virtual machine guest on Debian Jessie host and had same, signal 11. Some people have similar on Ubuntu: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/git/+bug/1252097
