While working on the “reproducible builds” effort [1], we have noticed
that aghermann could not be built reproducibly:

Following up on #828008, a second patch is attached to make BUILT_BY
deterministic. It's written to accomodate vendor names having embedded
spaces, since deb-origin(5) implies such names are valid.
