Package: unison-gtk Version: 2.48.3-1 Followup-For: Bug #682031 Update to my previous message:
1. I see after purging and reinstalling the package that the bash-completion file is indeed installed in /usr/share/bash-completion/completions/ , so my finding it in /etc/bash_completions.d appears to be a minor upgrade bug (I don’t propose to file a report for that). 2. However, the completions file is still not loaded: it should not be placed in a unison-gtk subdirectory of the completions directory. 3. Finally, the previous points about completing unison and unison-gtk still hold; in fact, there’s another case I didn’t catch before, namely unison-2.MAJORVERSION-gtk; that is, currently unison-2.48-gtk. Thus, for the current version of unison-gtk, the last line of the completions file should be something like: complete -o plusdirs -F _unison_2_48_3_gtk unison-2.48.3-gtk unison-2.48-gtk unison-gtk unison Similarly, in the unison completions file, a line such as complete -o plusdirs -F _unison_2_48_3 unison-2.48.3 unison-2.48 unison will be needed. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers xenial-updates APT policy: (500, 'xenial-updates'), (500, 'xenial-security'), (500, 'xenial'), (100, 'xenial-backports') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.4.0-31-generic (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages unison-gtk depends on: ii libc6 2.23-0ubuntu3 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.32.2-1ubuntu1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.48.1-1~ubuntu16.04.1 ii libgtk2.0-0 2.24.30-1ubuntu1 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.38.1-1 Versions of packages unison-gtk recommends: ii openssh-client [ssh-client] 1:7.2p2-4ubuntu1 ii ssh-askpass-gnome [ssh-askpass] 1:7.2p2-4ubuntu1 Versions of packages unison-gtk suggests: pn unison-all-gtk <none> -- no debconf information
