clone 825786 -1 tags 825786 pending retitle -1 tomcat8 writes files into /etc/tomcat8/Catalina thanks
Since I haven't heard any positive feedback about the proposed change to move /etc/tomcat8/Catalina to /var/lib/tomcat8/conf/Catalina, I am going to clone this bug report, so that we can move forward and finally fix #825786. I still think that my patch is technically correct and covers all eventualities. Tomcat 8 should not write files into /etc/tomcat8/Catalina but I will not insist on this change. Markus
