Hello Michael,

After the problem first occurred I reviewed bug #767468 and purged both cgmanager and sytemd-shim, but the problem remained. And, of course, /proc shows systemd-machined (and only systemd-machined) still "thought" /nfs/home was mounted.

I've attached the relevant automount map files, and fstab. I've also attached a (slightly truncated) copy of the output of journalctl -alb; the problems this morning that prompted my report are logged a few minutes after 8am on 27 July.

Regards,

John Pearson.

This appears to be fundamentally similar to Debian bug #767468i, assigned to
cgmanager.
Do you have cgmanager installed? Is it running?
Please attach your fstab and autofs configuration files.
A journalctl -alb log might be helpful as well.

Somehow I doubt this has anything to do with machined.

Michael
