Sorry, I don't have an amd64, and according to db.debian.org, there is no amd64 machine where I can slogin, so please do a little more of investigation on your side, for example: a) Does it happen under every locale, including LANG=C? b) Have you tried just rebuilding the package from source, using a current development system? c) Have you tried rebuilding the package without any extra debian patches, i.e. uncompress the orig.tar.gz and do ./configure and make? d) You should also try a), b) and c) using version 2.8.7 in experimental. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
