Package: ifupdown
Version: 0.8.13~bpo8+1
Severity: important

Hi,

This is related to the bug #832134

I've updated ifupdown to 0.8.13~bpo8+1 on jessie and I now get the
following error when running the ifup command:

Jul 23 15:32:41 ithil sh[2600]: Error: either "dev" is duplicate, or "-tentative
Jul 23 15:32:41 ithil sh[2600]: Could not get a link-local address
Jul 23 15:32:41 ithil sh[2600]: Failed to bring up eth0.

dhclient is started (only one time this time) with the following command:

/sbin/dhclient -v -pf /run/dhclient.eth0.pid -lf
/var/lib/dhcp/dhclient.eth0.leases -I -df /var/lib/dhcp/dhclient6.eth0.leases
eth0

Config in /etc/network/interfaces:

# The primary network interface
allow-hotplug eth0
iface eth0 inet dhcp

iface eth0 inet6 dhcp
