reassign 829304 xfce4 merge 829304 781288 thanks Turns out this isn't an X server bug at all. The login manager (xdm or lightdm) both survive a suspend just fine, as does my own X session if I log in directly to an emergency xterm or similar. It seems quite specific to xfce4.
