I disagree.  Squid should be put in the right group, and the
winbindd_priv should have the group owner rights on the socket, with
permissions 750 as indicated (anything else will have winbindd abort(),
for the admin's own sake).

I assert this is easy to fix, with a bit of co-ordination. Just perhaps
not in the run-up to the previous stable release :-)
