I am the same person (github/rickysarraf) that mentioned about the status of GNOME + Screen Rotation. Under Debian, to have it working, you need iio-sensor-proxy + GNOME 3.18+ I've not tried it with any other DE/WM. But as I said on github, to the best of my knowledge, it is only GNOME that currently works with *automatic* screen rotation. I think I tired the same under KDE but that didn't work. The simplest for you could be to have both XFCE and GNOME installed, to verify. PS: Once you have verified, can you please update your findings on this bug report? Then, we can bring this bug to a terminal state accordingly. -- Ritesh Raj Sarraf | http://people.debian.org/~rrs Debian - The Universal Operating System
