"..it's obviously something from upstream."

You got proof? Or is this just another jabbing guess of yours?

Fedora's latest does not have this bug and it uses kernel 4.5.x

The problem is definitely not upstream, as other distros which have kernel 4.5.x do not have this problem -- and Fedora is just one of them.

Do I need to talk in a "pussy-cat tone" to make you feel special?

You obviously didn't even bother to check if the bug is upstream. Afaict this bug is not on other distro kernels running 4.5.

If you're so sure it is an upstream bug, then why not test it and prove me wrong? Here there other distros (NON DEBIAN) that work without issue.

So do you actually "have proof" that it is a bug upstream? No you don't.

Instead of creating another diversion and distraction, maybe you should let someone here give themselves the chance to add to this report than merely trying to discredit it.

If you can't discredit the report, then at least try to replicate and "understand" -- even appreciate the time someone tries to "clarify" the confusion you have about anything.

Since you are confused from the very start, I would suggest you let somebody else take care of it.

Make the best of it.
