Dear Nicolas, I appreciate the work you did on this package, but not the facts that you gave me no prior warning, that you did not upload it to a delayed queue, that you did not number the package as -2.1 or mark the upload as an NMU, and that you changed more than just that required to fix the bug without consulting with the package maintainer first.
Please check the develpers' reference for advice on this sort of issue in future. If you would like to take over maintainership of this package together with its two Go library dependencies, that would be fine by me. Please do let me know if you do so. You may also have been unaware that I had had discussions with the maintainers of dh-make-golang as to how to handle this sort of situation more generally.
