Package: ceilometer-common Version: 1:6.0.0-2 Severity: normal The default ceilometer.conf comes with the setting
connection=mongodb://localhost:27017/ceilometer which means that the installation will hang on installation if installing on a host which don't run MongoDB (I have that on my DB/Controller node). Please create some debconf template question for allowing to seed this. At the moment, I had to resort to some ugly iptables rules to forward localhost:27017 to mongodb-server:27017 and then remove it after package installation. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/16 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages ceilometer-common depends on: ii adduser 3.115 ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.59 ii dpkg-dev 1.18.7 ii python-ceilometer 1:6.0.0-2 pn python2.7:any <none> ceilometer-common recommends no packages. ceilometer-common suggests no packages. -- debconf information: * ceilometer/admin-password: (password omitted) * ceilometer/rabbit_password: (password omitted) * ceilometer/admin-password-confirm: (password omitted) * ceilometer/rabbit_userid: openstack * ceilometer/rabbit_host: openstack.bayour.com * ceilometer/auth-host: openstack.bayour.com * ceilometer/admin-user: ceilometer * ceilometer/admin-tenant-name: service * ceilometer/configure_db: true
