Note that you didn't respond to me, but only to the bug log, and my
procmail hadn't subscribed to the bug since it was from a different
submitter address.

Anyway, you probably mean ".diff.gz" instead of ".tar.gz".  The
typical reason given why you should do this is so that making a
debian-specific change doesn't imply making a new upstream release.


Okay, I will see what I can do, once my key is in the keyring again.
