Hi Don,

I'm currently working on lilypond, packaging the current version 2.19.44
from upstream's unstable branch in order to use guile-2.0.

Things are going well so far, the executable builds fine. However, I
still have some problems building the documentation, so I need some more
time tweaking things.

Would you agree that I upload an NMU to experimental, when I'm ready?

I'm even thinking about uploading lilypond 2.19.44 to unstable, so that
the package could get a broader testing. I've read that you don't intend
to maintain an unstable lilypond release through the lifetime of a
stable Debian release, so we could ensure with an RC bug that this
version would not be released with stretch.

During the next week, I cannot do much on Debian, so the NMU would
certainly not happen before the next weekend.

Please tell me what you think about the NMU in general and uploading to
experimental vs. unstable.

Regards,
Tobias
