Package: bogofilter-bdb Version: 1.0.1-2 Severity: grave -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1
Silently changing to Berkeley database 4.4 made it impossible to prepare for that change as described in section 2.6 in README.db. These steps have to be done _before_ the BDB change: | (NOTE: DO NOT UPGRADE BERKELEY DB OR BOGOFILTER UNTIL STEP 4!) Now I only get DB_VERSION_MISMATCH errors and I can only recover my database with the steps described in section 3.2.3. Can you please _announce_ such updates, so the user can prepare the environment? It should be possible to make this update in the preinst script, by reading $(bogofilter_dir) from /etc/bogofilter.cf and doing the necessary step automatically. The only thing, which could be hard to handle is the stop of the mail system. Set to grave, because data loss is possible. If I missed something, I had to do, please tell me what. README.Deian tells nothing.
