Hi,
Prosody has a bunch of extra modules/plugins, that might be
added by the admin. I think, they should be placed in
/usr/local and not in /usr/lib.
So could you add the following to the default
prosody.cfg.lua?

plugin_paths = { "/usr/local/lib/prosody/modules" }
You might also want to create that path?
While you're at it, could you please remove the example.com
section from the main prosody.cfg.lua? It was moved into
the conf.avail/example* file anyway. We don't need the
example stuff two times, really.
