Perhaps to some extent this confusion is inevitable... However I would welcome patches to README.Debian if some aspects of Kubernetes configuration on Debian are worth clarifying. > This bugreport of mine is solely about kubectl and its failure to > connect to a GCE-backed cluster. And that's why I submitted this bugreport. Your bug report makes perfect sense. Thank you. I agree that this problem needs fixing. > You have just marked this bugreport as "unreproducible". Don't you worry about this. Even though I did not have a chance to reproduce the problem myself I'm sure it won't be a problem with all information you've provided. > Does this mean > that kubectl works for you in the scenario as outlined in my original > report? Not at all. :) I did not try to reproduce the problem yet and I have little operational knowledge of Kubernetes to claim that it works. Please leave this with me -- I'll have a look as soon as time allows. Also Tim gave us a clue about potential source of problem so I have something to try... -- All the best, Dmitry Smirnov. --- It has been said that democracy is the worst form of government except all the others that have been tried. -- Winston Churchill
