communication are forwarded to this list, so we don't need to CC each
other. Of course this only applies to team maintained packages. [1]

You have basically two options. You can do a "Team upload", just mention
this phrase in your changelog or you can add yourself to Uploaders in
debian/control. Then you don't need to add "Team upload" to the
changelog. NMUs aka non-maintainer uploads are only necessary for
packages which are not controlled by us and where the maintainer has
been unresponsive for quite some time. [2]
