Package: apt-src Version: 0.25.1 Severity: normal -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1
I was trying to use apt-src to build kmail. apt-src's man page says that the "build" command will download the source if it doesn't already exist. But running "apt-src build kmail" said "E: Not installed", while running "apt-src install kmail" correctly downloaded the source. I tried another package, and the same thing happened. - -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (650, 'testing'), (600, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.15adp Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages apt-src depends on: ii apt 0.6.43.1 Advanced front-end for dpkg ii dpkg-dev 1.13.11 package building tools for Debian ii libapt-pkg-perl 0.1.18+b1 Perl interface to libapt-pkg ii perl 5.8.7-10 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction Versions of packages apt-src recommends: ii build-essential 11.1 informational list of build-essent ii fakeroot 1.5.6 Gives a fake root environment ii sudo 1.6.8p12-1 Provide limited super user privile - -- no debconf information -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFDzGIw5+GdyTDsrJsRAts8AJ9Nzv7VCxDltJP5L9HKTWpHsuNuPQCffWgI tqV3VJBEAnArVA8XpLC//PY= =xd7T -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
