Thank you for the bug report. I was able to reproduce the issue with the Debian package and also found a workaround. You can close the capture file using the "Close this capture file" to return to the home screen and select the interface again for capturing. I have also tested upstream's master where you can restart capturing using the blue fin ("Start capturing packets") button, thus the bug is fixed there. The fix will be uploaded to Debian with the new major upstream release which is expected to be available in one or two months. In the meantime please use the workaround or the old UI which is still available in the wireshark-gtk package. Cheers, Balint
