Package: debian-edu-config Version: 1.818+deb8u1 1.903 Severity: important The script 'ldap-debian-edu-install' can be used to setup LDAP from scratch, instructions how to do it are contained in the script itself. Among other commands, /etc/init.d/samba (stop|start) is recommended.
As the samba init script has been masked, it is no longer possible to stop/start the daemon processes smbd and nmbd using sysv methods. Setting up LDAP fails cause no feedback is given about this failure. So these parts of the instructions should be replaced with systemd methods.
