I've reopened this. libpython2.7-dev is now up to date (it contains
i686-linux-gnu-python2.7-config according to
<https://packages.debian.org/sid/i386/libpython2.7-dev/filelist>), but
I don't think the bug is actually fixed until python-defaults
is also rebuilt: according to
<https://packages.debian.org/sid/i386/libpython-dev/filelist>,
it still contains i586-linux-gnu-python-config, and in particular,
libxml2 still fails to build from source in my i386 chroot.
