I don't have to do it for myself. There is nothing wrong in the first place. Besides, this stupid issue has already been resolved. All the packages already went into testing today. Great job making such a fuss about such a non-issue. > Just consider the time required to file a hacky bug, then consider the > time it took to close this bug (not to mention the time we already > spent discussing about it) and the ones that will come while MATE is > in the messy state it is in testing right now. Usually our users are not as entitled as this one particular guy who though who has to file tons of bugs to get attention - I'm talking to you, OP! > People file those hacky bugs not because they are personal assistants > or anything like that, they do it because it's practical to do so. No, I'm still not going to do it just because a single user felt some inconvenience. Really, I want people to understand that testing is not something that they should be using if they don't know how to care with these issues. > Of course, as you point out and I fully agree, the underlying problem > is in Britney, who only checks for Depends and not for Build-Depends, > but unless we are going to fix Britney, the hacky bugs can help in the > meantime. Or I just tell these people to shut up and let us do our work. PS: Sorry for the previous mail. I'm still quite upset about this. Adrian -- .''`.
