Dear Mia team, I've been trying to get in touch with the package maintainer of python-selenium, Sascha Girrulat, since the 3rd of March. Despite 4 messages sent to the bug tracker, with the last one from the 13th of may (2 weeks ago), the current maintainer doesn't reply at all to the bug tracker, and doesn't seem to care / has no time to address opened bugs. Other issues like #805733 and #805732 (both have a patch available) have also been left unanswered.
It is therefore my opinion that we can declare python-selenium as unmaintained. I'd be willing to adopt the package as part of the PKG OpenStack group (so the package would be team maintained), as it could be very useful to increase the QA of the openstack-dashboard package (so that unit tests could be run with Selenium). It is unfortunately not possible unless the package is upgraded to >= 2.50.1 as per #816624. If the current maintainer shows up again, then I'll welcome him in the PKG OpenStack team to continue working on his package, if I'm allowed to take this package maintenance over. Please let me know your view on this, Cheers, Thomas Goirand (zigo)
