[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ echo $LANG

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ locale
LANG=POSIX
LC_CTYPE="POSIX"
LC_NUMERIC="POSIX"
LC_TIME="POSIX"
LC_COLLATE="POSIX"
LC_MONETARY="POSIX"
LC_MESSAGES="POSIX"
LC_PAPER="POSIX"
LC_NAME="POSIX"
LC_ADDRESS="POSIX"
LC_TELEPHONE="POSIX"
LC_MEASUREMENT="POSIX"
LC_IDENTIFICATION="POSIX"
LC_ALL=

looks like I have no LANG ... personally, I dont mind :)

When I open the mail, and go in menu
view / encoding, there is nothing ticked.
When I browse all sub menus, only autodetect/(off) is ticked.

when I click answer message, I still have symbols every where ... and to check
the encoding I go in option/encoding ... and as soon as the encoding list
appears, the text comes full clear, and ISO-8859-1 is ticked.
