Still not added as a conflict with exim4, I believe (at least not reported by 
apt-listbugs to me):

After installing libnss-myhostname, exim failed to send emails, the receiving 
smtp servers said:

2016-05-25 09:26:37 [...]: 504 5.5.2 <my-not-full-name>: Helo command 
rejected: need fully-qualified hostname

Worked until the day libnss-myhostname was installed, worked again after 
removing it.

My /etc/hosts looks like this, "hostname -f" gave the FQDN with and without 
libnss-myhostname:

127.0.0.1       localhost
134.76.21.124   my-not-full-name.gwdg.de     my-not-full-name

::1     ip6-localhost ip6-loopback
fe00::0 ip6-localnet
ff00::0 ip6-mcastprefix
ff02::1 ip6-allnodes
