Package: openntpd
Version: 1:5.7p4-2~bpo80+1
Severity: normal

There are various parts of the manpages that refer to paths that do
not exist.

$ man openntpd| grep /etc
-f file Use file as the configuration file, instead of the default
/etc/ntpd.conf.
ntpd is usually started at boot time, and can be enabled by setting
ntpd_flags in /etc/rc.conf.local. See rc(8) and rc.conf(8) for more infor‐
     /etc/ntpd.conf Default configuration file.

/etc/ntpd.conf is obviously /etc/openntpd/ntpd.conf now (although IMHO
it should be /etc/openntpd.conf).

/etc/rc.conf.local is /etc/default/openntpd, although the mechanics
are different, and the rc*(8) references do not exist either.

There is also a reference to /etc/ntpd.conf in the ntpd.conf manpage.

This bug is specific to the Debian package and is similar to #791571,
although the latter aims to actually change the path of the socket
file.

This here is merely a request for accurate documentation.

Thanks!
